DEAR CLEANSER LOVERS: THE OMOROVICZA HYDRA MELTING CLEANSER

From the sound of its name to its packagings or even the bright blue shade of one of its items: whether we like it or not, these things matter as much as the amount of good things we’ve heard about a skincare brand. Every time I stumble across Omorovicza, it felt like a brand which would suit both my sensitive skin and luxurious skincare tastes. And through the Hydra Melting Cleanser,ย I got to discover the brand’s attention to consistency, scent and ingredients, all of which met my expectations.

With its giant, clean and sturdy packaging, its refreshing pop of blue in the middle, the Omorovicza Hydra Melting Cleanser is the kind of cleansers which rest proudly in my bathroom cabinet rather than a practical, travel-friendly one: it’s heavy and the pot and formula can become quite messy if used in a hurry. It’s the type of second cleanses I use calmly and quietly, somethingย I devote time to.

It also requires a little bit of practice to learn how to make the best use of the bright lagoon blue consistency which has the lightweight, bouncy texture of a gel with a slightly more liquidey, lotion-like feel to it. Applying it on dry skin but massaging it in with wet hands doesn’t ruin the refreshing -quick deep in the sea- scent. It also takes away the original stickiness of the gel and transforms it into a beautiful consistency; a summery take on cleansing milks: something fresh and thin, extremely slippery and massage worthy.

Once rinsed, the skin is fresh, smooth, perfectly cleansed and respected at the same time: the ingredient list avoids anything too superficial and irritating, butย also anything too simple and common. The Omorovicza Hydra Melting Cleanser is expensive and definitely not something I would share with somebody who hates to cleanse: it’s for the ones who like their makeup removing process to be as gentle and long as possible, leaving the bathroom feeling as fancy as the product they’ve just used.

  • I have seen this cleanser first from AModelRecommends and it’s been in my wishlist ever since. At the moment is out of my budget but if I’ll get the chance in the future, I’ll definitely give it a try. I’m intrigued by its texture and smell and it think it would work well for my dry (and sensitive as well) skin. Their products always look very luxurious ๐Ÿ™‚ xx have a nice day Fanny!

    • It truly is, and it’s a great one if you don’t want your skin to feel dry or irritated after cleansing it!

  • Oh my gosh, this looks and sounds soo luxurious. I recently bought their thermal cleansing balm and am waiting to crack it open. It looks like this will be next on my wish list XD

Saw this picture on instagram and I was wondering what this luxurious product is, I just wanted to touch it and I love the blue colour ๐Ÿ™‚ Haven’t tried anything from Omorovicza, it’s a bit expensive for me but I hope I treat myself to a product like this on my birthday or a special occasion. Great review ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I think this is the first review I read about this cleanser and it sounds really lovely. The price though is another story altogether…I probably will stick to trying Asian cleansing balms which usually contain lots of natural extracts and way more budget friendly too.

    • Yes, Omorovicza is a very expensive brand (probably the most expensive skincare brand I own actually) and this product definitely isn’t a necessity, but for skincare lovers who have the budget and love transforming their cleansing routine into a little pampering session, this is perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Now that sounds posh! I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the thermal cleansing balm as one of my latest acquisitions, but that one sounds perfect for summer.

    • I’ve got a sample of the Thermal Cleansing Balm with this cleanser, I haven’t tried it yet though, I’m saving it for a special trip or something but I’m looking forward to see what you think about it!

      • We should test it simultaneously so we don’t influence each others opinion.
Oh, I filmed a foundation review on the Diorskin cushion last weekend, which will be up next month or so. On me it started separating around the nose and chin after about four hours, did you experience anything similar?

        • Oh really? I’m sorry because it doesn’t do that on me, I did notice that it doesn’t perform really well on top of a thick moisturizer, though (if it can help)!

  • I’m always on the lookout for a good cleanser! I do like gel cleanser since I feel they are gentler on dry skin, I might have to try this out as soon I finish my cleanser <3

    • You’re right, gel cleansers (when they aren’t too soapy) tend to be gentler! This one definitely is as it transforms itself into a milk once on the skin ๐Ÿ™‚

this sounds so lovely! i really need to try the brand
