The Faithful -4- Bodycare edition

1- Dove Silky, Silky nourishment body cream

The super simple yet effective body cream which is not the most hydrating one, however, it definitely is ideal for daily moisturizing. This is also a great one if I am a little bit reluctant to apply some body cream because its lovely scent – just a simple, soothing scent- makes the drudgery as enjoyable as possible. It truly offers a luxurious feel while it still is inexpensive, which is probably why this is the one I reach for the most.

2- Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne

I am quite complicated when it comes to fragrances, I love simple, delicate scents yet they still need to own something unique. Those latter words could easily define this fragrance which – I believe- is smart, elegant, not very feminine though. I personally do not smell the nectarine, the peach – described on the website- either. It is definitely more of a floral scent than a sweet, fruity one. In contrast, the honey is very vivid and present.  Sorry if that does not help you picture this fragrance, but, as I said earlier, it is a very unique one, however, I believe I am correct in saying that it is quite similar to Burberry Body.

3- La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+

A highly moisturizing balm for irritated, super dry, sensitive or even atopic skins. This is the one I reach for when my skin is a little bit itchy or feels dehydrated since I only need one application to find my normal skin again. It leaves the skin soft, healthy and lightly fragrant by the classic La Roche-Posay’s scent.  However – and that is the only drawback I am able to find-  it is definitely an evening balm as it takes some times to penetrate the skin. Finally, I would say that this is so moisturizing that it is also highly effective on the feet.
