The Faithful -5- Makeup edition
1- Mascara Le Volume De Chanel in 10 Black Waterproof
So far the mascara I repurchase the most probably because it is ideal for both everyday eyelashes and dramatic lashes depending on how many coats I apply on them. It is therefore a buildable mascara which holds the curl – with the help of the eyelash curler of course- . Its name seems senseless to me though, as it definitely gives length to my lashes, but very little volume – which I do not mind because volume makes my eyes look too severe but you might- . The pigmentation is brilliant, the first months of use the formula is a gorgeous intense black. However, it must be borne in mind that after those few months, the intensity is not quite there anymore. Yet, despite that – and its rather heavy price- I just cannot do without, which is relatively truthful when it comes to know how good it is for the other requirements.
2- Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Fair Neutral
I repurchased this one a few days ago and thought that I will include it in this faithful, since I am now using it almost every day. This is just one of those complexion products which has coverage yet does not look like they have some considering how light they are on the skin. That is why, this concealer is great for both dark circles and redness – blemishes … – . Its finish is quite matte, yet not drying at all on the skin, and actually, being somebody who has trouble wearing most of concealers and foundations all day long, this one is very comfortable to wear. I have the shade Fair Neutral which is very interesting – and quite rare in the market- for those who have a fair skin with no high yellow/ pink undertones in it.
3- Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Camel Coat
Just a very effective eye primer which is lovely on its own thanks to its camel -with a hint of grey- colour. This is also its colour that makes it wearable underneath so many eyeshadows – almost every eyeshadow except for the palest ones – I try so many different eyeshadow primers over the past few years and this is the only one which works for me. It is a thick consistency that I rather apply with my fingers, making the application very enjoyable. -Once again – I just cannot do without!
4- Chanel’s lipstick Rouge Allure in 91 Séduisante
A comfortable nude for those who do not like nude lipsticks. Its peachy pink colour plumps up my lips and magically makes me look more awake and ready for the day. It is one of those lipsticks which matches both simple and heavy makeup look and compliments quite a few skintones as it owns several undertones as well as it is not properly registered in a particular season. Regarding its formula – as I said earlier- it is comfortable and very long-lasting, and I would say more of a satin finish. It becomes my favorite one for my busy days where I do not want to feel my lipstick or even worry about it all day long.
