Which bronzer for which lipstick

Being much more of a bronzer girl than a blusher girl, when I decide to wear a lipstick I like to think that I have the perfect bronzer to pair with it. They may however be cases where I did not pair them well, mainly because of the bronzer’s undertones. So here are my favorites bronzer/lipstick twosomes – please bear in mind that I have a fair skin-

With an authentic red lipstick , I rather wear the most unobtrusive bronzer, which for me is Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder SPF 15/ PA++ n°20 from Chanel – already talk about this one in this Faithful https://fannyanddailybeauty.wordpress.com/2015/08/14/the-faithful-3-makeup-edition/ – In a nutshell, its formula is invisible on the skin and the shade is slightly darker than my skintone. It does not own any shimmery effect, yet it is not matte either since it makes the skin both healthier and more radiant.  It happens to accurately be what I am looking for when I wear lipsticks such as Red door Red – 02 Beautiful Color Moisturizing lipstick-  by Elizabeth Arden. Indeed and even though this one, thanks to its subtle cherry undertone, compliments fair complexions, I do not want mine to fade away because of the lipstick as well as I do not want to overdo my makeup.

With an old pink- and every not nude yet more neutral lipsticks- I personally like to continue with neutral shades. The Maybelline Master Sculpt in 01 Light/ Medium, because it is designed as a contouring powder – only speaking about the contouring side on the left-  is a very flat shade , in the positive sense of the term though since it means that this does not contain any undertones whatsoever. I guess – once again in my opinion-  it is a lovely way to compliment both fair skin’s undertones, peculiarity and the lipstick : Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in So Hap’pink 11. which is a lovely matte, neutral old pink with a hint of peach in it. The whole makeup look is very elegant and ladylike.

-Those products are already mentioned in the following blog post : https://fannyanddailybeauty.wordpress.com/2015/07/26/my-idea-of-the-summery-travel-makeup-bag/ –  Lipsticks where orange is the main colour or simply is somewhere in it requires – in my opinion and on fair skin-  a noticeable, orange- toned bronzer. The Nars Laguna bronzer is both, but probably in the most classy, not too overdone way. It is a little bit shiny on the skin, yet only to provide a healthy skin on the cheeks  and light up the face. And although I truly love Rio Rio from Topshop , if I am wearing it alone – with no bronzer- I sometimes feel like the only thing that people see when they look at me is the lipstick, whereas the Nars Laguna bronzer, in a manner of speaking, rejoin the face with the lips.
